Amy Green is a writer living on Amelia Island, Florida. A Savannah girl at heart. She has finished her first novel, Sparrow Alone, a story her mother started writing when Amy was in grade school. The second novel in the series, Hedy’s Way, is soon to be completed. The search is underway for the right publisher to take on her debut novel.

Amy loves historical fiction and the stories that tell of home. Live Oaks draped in Spanish moss, salty air and riverbanks. She loves writing about the struggles of family and love. The relationships that bring us joy and break our heart, but she also loves an ending that leaves us feeling hopeful.

When she isn’t writing, Amy loves spending time with family and reading to her grandchildren.

The greatest art in the world is the art of storytelling. If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten. – Anonymous

I am from dirt road, salty air, toes dipped in river water and blue crab. From summers at the shore and strong opinion. I am from Maggie and James and Herrings who fish.
